1. Institute submitted
the proposal-“International Program
for The Development of Communication”
(IPDC) -to UNESCO. Institute will
establish women media training
organization in Bailang County
in Tibet in 2006.
2.
Institute has been set the Master
Degree on “Media and Gender” in
International Journalism School
of Communication University of
China. It plans to enroll the
first graduates in autumn in 2006.

Institute plans to publish journals
named Media and Gender Annual
Report. Meanwhile, Institute will
publish a set of books on media
and gender in the beginning of
2006. There are 10 books in this
set.
4.
Institute has set cooperation
with several institutions and
persons to put forward the integration
of theory and practice on media
and gender, such as Women's Studies
Institute of China, Women’s Studies
Center of Peking University, China
Women Newspaper, CCTV, China Radio
International and Capital Women
Journalists Association.
