刘继南校长致联合国教科文组织的教席主持人提名信

尊敬的青岛泰之先生：
　　我很高兴地向您推荐刘利群博士担任联合国教科文组织—中国传媒大学“媒介与女性教席”的主持人。
　　刘利群博士是中国传媒大学传播学教授、国际传播学院院长兼媒介与女性研究中心主任。她致力于媒介与女性领域研究，代表性成果有《社会性别与媒介传播》、《女性传播环境构建》等著作以及相关学术论文，组织或参与多项国家级、省部级课题研究。
　　刘利群博士领导的媒介与女性研究中心是我国第一家以媒介与女性为研究主题的学术机构。我相信“媒介与女性”教席在她的主持下，将会吸引各领域的专家和相关人士参与教席活动，争取各方面社会力量的支持和投入，实现教席预定目标。
　　鉴于此，我推荐刘利群博士担任联合国教科文组织—中国传媒大学"媒介与女性"教席主持人。

Dear Mr. Yasuyuki Aoshima，

I am very glad to nominate Dr. Liu liqun as the UNESCO Chair holder on Media and Gender at the Communication University of China.

Doctor liu is a professor of Communication, and the Dean of School of International Communication and the Director of Media & Gender institute. She is one of the pioneer Scholars who focus on media and Gender in China. Here are some representative productions of hers: Media & Gender, the Construction of Female Communication Situation, and some other academic papers etc. She also has organized and participated in several national and international research projects.

The Media and Gender Institute led by Doctor Liu is the first institute focusing on Media & Gender, I believe, under the host of Doctor Liu, the Chair on Media and Gender will attract Scholar and Academics from different field to cooperate in its activities and programs, and achieve the goals of the Chair.

For the above mentioned reasons, I nominate Doctor Liu as the UNESCO Chair holder on Media and Gender at the Communication University of China.
